Medical School Affiliations

St Joseph’s University Medical Center is one of the most prestigious academic medical centers in Northern New Jersey, with 153 years of legacy to offer to our learners .We are proud to have built successful relationships with teaching hospitals and academic affiliates across the tristate area.  Our dedicated clerkship directors and preceptors are among the best, offering the highest level of training and experiences to the medical students rotating at St. Joseph’s Health.  We provide extensive clinical rotation experiences, including unencumbered access to attending physicians, a diverse didactic curriculum and exposure to simulation training.

We offer third year core clinical clerkships to medical students from St. George’s University School of Medicine and Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Surgery, Ob/Gyn, Family Medicine, and Neurology.  Visiting medical students are welcome to inquire about our competitive fourth year electives, which opens in April of each academic year.  All inquiries should be emailed directly to our medical education department at MedEd@sjhmc.org.
