Tumors involving bone, muscle and soft tissue structures are rare. Each tumor has its own distinctive characteristics, which influence the course of treatment and patient outcome. Treatment is individualized by tumor classification, size and location.

To determine characteristics, location, extent of tumor and the type of treatment necessary, various tests may be performed. They include:
