St. Joseph’s Health was featured on News 12 New Jersey– highlighting our efforts to care for communities, patients and care teams impacted by Hurricane Harvey. James Pruden, MD, Director of Emergency Preparedness, SJH, and Kim Russo, RN, Emergency Services, SJUMC, spoke with News 12 prior to leaving for Texas for a one-week rotation providing clinical expertise and compassion for those in need.
Dr. James Pruden and Nurse Kim Russo were among two doctors and three nurses from St. Joseph’s University Center who volunteered.
“The hospital is supporting us. We are engaged and ready to go, so we are looking forward to it,” said Pruden.
