Mother Baby Unit

Your family is expanding, and so has ours! The newest arrival to the St. Joseph’s Health Women’s and Children’s Pavilion is a completely renovated, state-of-the art Mother Baby Unit featuring all private rooms.

St. Joseph’s Health provides families with a supportive, family-centered environment to make the birth of your baby a memorable experience. Our Magnet nursing staff provides relationship-based care and is here to meet all your needs throughout your maternity stay. Our 26 bed maternity unit provides you with a safe, comfortable environment to nurture your new family. We understand the importance of the bond between you and your baby, which is why we practice rooming-in at St. Joseph’s. 

 Our mother baby unit staff will prepare you in caring for yourself and your baby. Your needs, and the needs of your infant, will be taken care of by the dedicated members of our staff, who understand the unique needs of new Moms and who go the extra mile to ensure your stay is comfortable.

Our trained staff will support you through your labor & delivery and post partum experience. We have Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultants, as well as trained registered nurses, available for breastfeeding support if needed.

St. Joseph’s offers a daily Education and Discharge Class or individual instruction on bathing, feeding, developmental needs of newborns, and follow-up care for yourself and infant.
