PATERSON, NJ [JANUARY 6, 2011] - St. Joseph's Healthcare System (SJHS) continues to move forward with the $250 million master facilities expansion and renovation investment project at both St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center/St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Paterson, NJ and St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, a division of St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Wayne, NJ. On Wednesday, January 5th, the new Physicians' Lounge at the Medical Center was officially opened.
Physicians and staff gathered for a special blessing offered by Fr. Martin Rooney, Director, Mission Services, SJHS. For the convenience of our Physician-team, the 3,800 square foot furnished new lounge, located in a section of the original Medical Center lobby/waiting area, includes 2 physician-dedicated conference rooms for physician-to-physician consultations, equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and computer stations, among other amenities. The lounge also includes direct Main Street access limited to physician use.
