Cooking For Kids Dishes Up Funds at 5th Annual St. Joseph's Children's Hospital Event

c4KidsResizePATERSON, NJ [MAY 24, 2012] - St. Joseph's Children's Hospital (SJCH) recently hosted the Fifth Annual "Cooking for Kids: Gourmet Fare from Everywhere!" With 60 world-class chefs, restaurateurs and distributors and nearly 650 supporters and friends, this signature event raised more than $200,000 for the young patients and their families at our Children's Hospital.


For the third consecutive year, Guest of Honor Lidia Bastianich, acclaimed public television personality, chef, restaurateur and best-selling cookbook author, welcomed other celebrity chefs and guests to the event. "Lidia and all the other celebrity chefs who participated in Cooking for Kids made for an evening of great food and excitement, all for the kids at St. Joseph's. Many of our pediatric programs will benefit from this fundraiser, enabling St. Joseph's Children's Hospital to continue bringing great care to the children who need it the most thanks to the support of the culinary community" says Timothy P. Barr, Vice President for Development at St. Joseph's Healthcare System.
