Welcome to the St. Joseph’s Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program!

Congratulations on your accomplishments thus far and thank you for your interest in our program. We hope that these pages are informative and help you during your selection process. We have highlighted the strengths of our program and the factors that contribute to the day-to-day life of our residents.

It is impossible, however, to describe the friendship and camaraderie that exists between the residents, faculty, and staff. With 15 residents, we are not only able to provide individualized attention and mentorship, but we are also able to provide the resources and exposure typically reserved for larger academic centers. The opportunities here are endless; our program provides the freedom to pursue your academic interest and receive early hands-on operative experience. We take great pride in the proficiency, autonomy, operative experience, and technical skills of our residents.

Applying to residency is a daunting task, but it should also be an exciting and rewarding journey. We hope you have the opportunity to come visit us for a rotation or interview to experience the program for yourself.  Our program provides a truly exceptional environment to train and cultivate your skills on your own path to becoming an outstanding orthopedic surgeon.
