Current Residents

Sylvia Ou, PharmD

Dr. Sylvia Ou is a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Sylvia received her Bachelor of the Arts degree in Biochemistry from New York University and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her areas of interest are ambulatory care and internal medicine, with specific interests in anticoagulation and diabetes management.

Brian Ubhaus, PharmD 

Dr. Brian Ubhaus is a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Brian received his Bachelors of Science degree from Montclair State University and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Rutgers University in May 2020.  His areas of interest are infectious disease and ambulatory care. Upon completion of his PGY-1 Brian hopes pursue a PGY-2 in Infectious Disease.

Naana Boachie, PharmD

Dr. Naana Boachie is a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Naana received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Rutgers University. Her clinical interests include infectious disease and ambulatory care, with a focus on HIV and diabetes management. Upon completion of her PGY-1 Naana plans to pursue a PGY-2 in Ambulatory Care. After residency, Naana aims to attain a clinical faculty position to assist in teaching and nurturing the next generation of pharmacists.

Emily Berberich, PharmD 

Dr. Emily Berberich is a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Emily received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Buies Creek, North Carolina. Her clinical interests include ambulatory care, cardiology, and infectious diseases. Upon completion of her PGY-1, Emily  hopes to pursue a PGY-2 residency.
