Director General Practice Residency Program

Thank you for your interest in the GPR program sponsored by St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. It is a great honor for me to have been the GPR program director here since 2006. I am very proud of our two consecutive, successful site visits over the past 14 years that resulted in no citations/recommendations.  The program has a long history dating back to the 1970s, consisting of dedicated faculty, staff, and supportive administration who fully commit to the residents’ education and patient care. All of our graduates over the years have become successful general practitioners in private practices, or have accepted and successfully graduated from different specialties, such as OMFS, endodontic, orthodontic, periodontal and pediatric residency programs.  I appreciate our diverse and dedicated faculty, some of whom are former residents who choose to stay and teach. The strong support and great teamwork from faculty, staff and the residents in all three of our programs has made this program a special place to train.
