Educational Curriculum

By end of their three years of fellowship training, in addition to the specialized cognitive and technical skills to be mastered, several generic core “competencies” are expected of cardiovascular disease fellows as promulgated by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).  These core competencies include the following:
  • Patient care
  • Medical knowledge
  • Practice-based learning and improvement
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professionalism
  • Systems-based practice
 
Didactic Sessions
Our robust didactic sessions are considered the highlight of our program.  Faculty and nationally acclaimed physicians provide the most up-to-date research and clinical developments.
