Thank you for your interest in the OMS program sponsored by St. Joseph’s.  The program has been in existence since the mid-1990s with roots at the VA in East Orange that date back to the 1970s.  It is a great privilege to have been the department chair and OMS program director here since 1996. I am very proud of our five consecutive successful site visits since that time with no citations or recommendations.  I appreciate our diverse and dedicated faculty, some of whom are former residents, who choose to stay and teach.  Building a family consisting of faculty, staff and the residents in all three of our programs has been made possible by an enlightened and supportive administration in an institution that is as committed to medical education as it is to providing excellent care to all who come through our doors.  This truly is a very special place and a great place to receive medical training.
