Endocrinology/Diabetes

The Endocrinology/Diabetes Division at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital provides Board-certified Pediatric Endocrinologists to evaluate and treat infants, children and adolescents with Endocrine disorders.

The division specializes in the evaluation and treatment of the following disorders:

  • Diabetes
  • Growth Disorders including Growth Hormone Deficiency
  • Disorders of bone and mineral metabolism including Osteogenesis Imperfecta
  • Pubertal Disorders
  • Hypoglycemia
  • Thyroid Diseases
  • Adrenal Diseases
  • Pituitary Diseases
  • Turner Syndrome
  • Disorders of Sex Development

Families receive support through the expertise of our Physicians, Certified Diabetic Nurse Educators, Registered Dietitians and Social Workers.  Our Division also participates in Multidisciplinary Specialty Clinics: Prader Willi Clinic, Turner Syndrome, Cystic Fibrosis,  Birth Defects Clinic and Cancer Survivorship Clinic.
