The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), sponsored by St. Joseph’s, is a public health nutrition program that provides wholesome food, nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support for pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, babies and children up to age five. WIC has had a major impact on the children of the area. This program, funded by the USDA and since 1975, the St. Joseph’s WIC Program has grown to be one of the largest in New Jersey, serving more than 21,000 people a month at 17 clinic sites in Passaic, Bergen and Morris counties.

WIC appointments may be in person or remote. Please check to see if you need to come into the office for WIC services or if the appointment can be done over the phone.
