This test is performed using 64 multi-slice GE Lightspeed VCT scanner and produces 3-D, 360 degree images of the heart and arteries, where heart attacks originate. The results are used to evaluate potential problems, including the buildup of calcium in arterial plaque, before the onset of symptoms.
