This video was shown at the 33rd annual Charity Ball for St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ.
St. Joe's as you know has been around over 140 years and in fact the Sister's of Charity this year are celebrating their 150th year of supporting this community. It's truly a remarkable organization that strives to provide the highest quality of care. I'm extremely proud of our people's capability and more importantly their commitment to excellence and to what they do in this community. We provide the facilities for the physicians and the clinicians to manage the care that they're trained to do. We have a cancer hospital, we have a cardiovascular hospital, we have a children's hospital, we have a trauma center here, we have a series of clinical components that operate independently. The clinical service line processes we use are run at that clinical level and that's enabled us to build a rather strong organization very very quickly. The expansion program here is not only exciting to me but we're starting to feel that excitement throughout our community. All of the efforts we've put in in the last 5 years to carve our future is what it's about today, we're building a new future for this community and St. Joe's. Clinical expertise is definitely here, facilities now will match that expertise. It's not because of the hospital here, it's because of what every individual person within this organization has made a commitment to do. Continuing to strive for excellence and wanting to be part of that dynamic moving forward, everyone in this room is critical to making that work. The benefactors in this room that have given dollars, time to helping this capitol campaign to be part of these events for the last 5 years that i've been here this has been a full audience every time i've been and it continues to grow. That tells me and it tells everybody else that we're really on the move and we're making it happen, the future really is St. Joe's. "If St. Joseph wasn't here I don't think it would've survived. I wanted to say thank you for all the stuff you've done and to thank you for supporting me and just thank you," said Leslie Figueroa.
