William A. McDonald expands on St. Joseph's continued commitment to you. St. Joseph's Healthcare System is the largest in the region and the second largest provider of charity care in the state of NJ. The Healthcare System has consistently been recognized with the Magnet award for nursing since 1999, and have also just received the prestigious Magnet Prize. St. Joseph's is in the midst of a large capital expansion program including opening the Critical Care Building this past year, completing a new parking structure on the Paterson campus along with circular drive, and beginning construction on a new Cancer Center at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital.
