Children up to 18 years of age are being discussed today with kidney deficiencies. Kidney conditions are seen in newborn babies when there is anatomical abnormalities in the urinary tract. In older children the development of infections, especially streptococcal infection, causes inflammation of the kidney. Patients with obesity that have hypertension can damage the kidney. Patients with type 1 diabetes can develop protein urea as part of the condition they have. Diagnosis is achieved by urine samples, and abnormal growth rate notifications. Early detection, as always, in key in treating kidney conditions.
