Rehabilitation

A full menu of Rehabilitation Medicine Services is available across St. Joseph's Healthcare System. Providing treatment from the acute care setting to acute rehabilitation and outpatient services, our team offers expertise across a continuum of care.

Services are provided to the pediatric through geriatric population. Each of our patients receives a thorough evaluation and an individualized plan of care to improve performance at home, school, and work, as well as during sporting activities.

Audiology

The Audiology Department at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center is dedicated to delivering quality hearing health care to infants, children, and adults with all degrees of hearing loss.

EMG/Nerve Conduction

At St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, our physicians who specialize in physiatry help our patients better physical health and healing without surgery, through practices including various physical medicine and rehabilitation assessments. Physiatrists also perform nerve conduction studies or EMG's.

Hand Therapy

People value the use of their hands; therefore, any loss of function through injury or disease can devastate lives. The Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential offers assurance to the public that the therapist treating them has achieved the highest recognition of competency in the profession of upper extremity therapy.

Occupational Therapy

At the Department of Occupational Therapy, we care for those whose lives have been disrupted by physical injury, illness or social, developmental, and psychological difficulties. We focus on fine motor activities and improving cognitive abilities.
