The pharmacists and pharmacy technicians of St. Joseph's Healthcare System are an integral part of the facility's culture and clinical practice.
Our Pharmacy is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our staff reaches beyond the walls of our main pharmacy, to provide focused care in several critical environments.
Dedicated pharmacists work directly with physicians, nurses and other healthcare personnel, and are stationed on the following patient care areas:
- Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Cardiac Care Unit (CCU)
- Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
St. Joseph's Children's Hospital is also supported by a Pediatric/Neonatal Pharmacy Satellite, which is dedicated to providing safe and appropriate pharmaceutical care, to this vulnerable patient population.
Supplementing this outstanding care through Pharmacy services is our dedicated team of clinical pharmacist specialists, along with medical students in our Pharmacy Residency Program.
The pharmacy leadership is involved with organizational and legislative initiatives on a state and national level.
