The Division of Pediatric Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital is renowned for the wide scope of the procedures performed, ranging from Cleft Lip/Palate Surgery to trauma reconstruction, complex facial reconstruction and cranial surgery.
The division, in particular, specializes in some innovative aspects of plastic surgery including:
- Congenital anomalies, including Cleft Lip and Palate
- Endoscopic correction of Craniosynostosis
The division works with the premier multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists at the Regional Craniofacial Center and the Alfiero and Lucia Palestroni Birth Defects Center. These physicians provide consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with Craniofacial disorders, as well as education and support for their family members in collaboration with referral sources.

- Secondary cleft surgeries
