The Division of Orthopedic Surgery at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital provides pediatric and adolescent patients with a wide array of services ranging from pre-season physical examinations to extensive reconstructive surgery.



ch waiting roomThe medical staff includes physicians who are leaders in orthopedic surgical procedures including spinal surgery and sports medicine.  The division also features excellence in Sports Medicine and physicians such as Vincent K. McInerney, MD trained specifically to deal with athletes. The division specializes in:

 

  • Gait analysis
  • Neuromuscular disorders, including brachial plexus (Andrew Price, MD is a specialist in brachial plexus)
  • Orthopedic trauma (with specialists like Garrick Andrew Cox, MD)
  • Congenital abnormalities, including Osteogenesis Imperfecta and slipped capital femoral epiphysis
  • Pediatric hand, foot, and ankle surgery
  • Pediatric spinal disorders, including scoliosis and spine fractures, Congenital abnormalities
  • Orthopedic Oncology
  • Musculoskeletal traumatic injury
