Each year, approximately 1 in 750 children is born with a cleft lip or palate which can have an impact on a child’s speech, dental health, hearing, educational advancement and swallowing. The mission of the Regional Craniofacial Center at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital is to provide quality specialized team care to children and adolescents with clefts and other congenital and/or acquired craniofacial anomalies. At St. Joseph’s Regional Craniofacial Center, a premier multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists provides consultation, diagnosis and treatment for patients with craniofacial disorders as well as education and support for their family members.

Regional Cystic Fibrosis Center
The Cystic Fibrosis Center at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital is an integral part of the Pulmonology Division. It is accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and associated with The Columbia-Presbyterian University Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Center in New York City. The CF Center is a New Jersey State Referral Site for infants identified through the newborn CF screening program.

The St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital Pediatric Sleep Center, renovated in 2008, is located at our St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital campus in nearby Wayne, NJ. The Center is dedicated to the evaluation of cardiorespiratory and sleep disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. It is equipped with a new state-of-the-art comprehensive polysomnographic monitoring system, which is staffed by pediatric sleep technologists. The Center recently received full accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Weight Management - Up, Up and Aweigh
The Up, Up and Aweigh Program is a stimulating 16-week outpatient weight management program that provides comprehensive medical evaluations, exercise training, behavior modification and nutrition guidance at the St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital Pediatric Subspecialty Center at Fairfield.
