St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital is the region’s premier healthcare center treating children from birth to 21 years of age. The focus of our Center is the total well-being of the child.We treat the whole child – body, mind and spirit – and recognize that patients and their families are the most important members of the team.

The Infusion Services Division provides the opportunity for IV therapy in an outpatient setting, thus avoiding the need for hospitalization. Pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists can call the Infusion Center and make arrangements for their patients to be treated. Services are offered Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Lead Detection Program provides consultative services to local health departments and local pediatricians for children identified with elevated blood lead levels. Complete evaluation, management, treatment and follow-up services are available.

Neonatal Transport Services:
Transportation via a dedicated ambulance is provided to referring hospitals. A neonatal team consisting of a nurse, physician and respiratory therapist are dispatched quickly to labor and delivery units, or nurseries. A Neonatologist is always available for consultation and/or transport of newborns.
