The Neurofibromatosis Diagnosis and Treatment Center provides multidisciplinary outpatient care for children with the neurofibromatosis diagnoses including NF1, NF2 and Schwannomatosis. The program offers the services of Geneticists, Ophthalmologists, Developmental Pediatricians, Neurologists, Orthopedists, Audiologists, as well as other health care professionals.
Evaluations by a Medical Geneticist, a Pediatric Neurologist and a Developmental Pediatrician are completed in a single session. The team also coordinates care with Pediatric Ophthalmologists, Pediatric Orthopaedists, Audiologists, and any other necessary specialists or health care professionals.
The program is registered with the Children's Tumor Foundation. This foundation and its members are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis.
