The Alfiero and Lucia Palestroni Birth Defects Center at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital is a division of St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. The Center provides consultation and treatment services for children with structural birth defects and complex medical conditions. We create a medical home for patients and their families by providing unified care from a multidisciplinary team of specialists.
The Autism Center, as part of the Child Development Center at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, employs an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders. Our evaluation team is comprised of multiple pediatric subspecialties including developmental pediatrics, neurology, genetics, rehabilitation medicine (physical, occupational, speech and language therapists), feeding and swallowing, child and adolescent psychology and psychiatry.
