The St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital Nursing Team has been recognized by the American Nursing Credential Center with The Magnet Award for Nursing Excellence since 1999. Included on staff are Advance Practice Nurses (APNs) and Certified Pediatric RNs. They utilize the relationship-based model of nursing care, which fosters close collaboration between patients, families, and the nursing, medical, and ancillary staff. Pediatric staff can be contacted by pager or mobile phone for quick response to patients.
