David F. Alexander Named to Leadership Team

Alexander, CPA, MBA, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the multi-hospital academic healthcare organization. Mr. Alexander will replace Jack Robinson, CFO, who will retire by the end of the year. 

“I am pleased to welcome David Alexander as the next CFO at St. Joseph’s Health,” said William A. McDonald, President and Chief Executive Officer, St. Joseph’s Health. “David brings over 20 years of healthcare financial leadership and management expertise and experience to St. Joseph’s.” 

Prior to coming to St. Joseph’s, Mr. Alexander served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Memorial Healthcare System, a six hospital regional healthcare delivery system based in Hollywood, Florida. Previously, he served as Vice President, Strategic Planning as well as Corporate Controller at Jackson Health System, Miami, and as Vice President, Finance and Corporate Controller at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

A Certified Public Account (CPA), Mr. Alexander earned both his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting at Barry University, Miami Shores, Florida. He is a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
