Welcome to one of the largest teaching hospitals in Northern New Jersey, St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, offering medical education opportunities to the doctors of tomorrow since the 1940’s. Located just 10 miles from New York City, St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center provides an educational experience in a location full of sight-seeing, sporting and recreational opportunities.

Our academic affiliations include Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Seton Hall School of Health & Medical Science, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, the University of New England School of Osteopathic Medicine, and New York Medical College, a member of the Touro College and University System.

Our residency and fellowship programs include: Anesthesiology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Cardiovascular Disease, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Interventional Cardiology, Pulmonary and Nephrology, which are all fully accredited by The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). General Dentistry and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery programs are accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Emergency Medicine and General Surgery programs are accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).  The Pharmacy Residency Program follows the criteria of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
