High-risk infants are cared for by Neonatal Associates of St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. These Board-certified physicians have a long history of caring for the tiniest of newborns. St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care unit is one of the first in New Jersey. The staff is dedicated to providing quality personal care to each infant. Early involvement of the family in the care of the newborn is encouraged. A liberal visiting policy allows time for Mom and family to bond with the newest member. Each family will have the opportunity to ask questions of all team members during regularly scheduled sessions. When your baby is ready, he/she will be transferred the intermediate nursery. There, intensive education on the special needs of your baby will take place. For additional information about Neonatal Associates, please contact us: 973.754.2555.
