Pediatric Critical Care Services

Dr. DeBruin and PatientThe Pediatric Critical Care Unit (PICU) is a 12-bed unit caring for both critically ill medical and surgical patients. The PICU has nearly 1,000 admissions annually. Our nurses are all Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified and experienced in caring for a wide range of patients, including Oncology, Cardiac Surgery, Neurosurgery, Respiratory, and Renal Failure.

Transport staff and specially equipped vehicles are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to mobilize patients from any referral facility.

The PICU is supported by a full spectrum of Pediatric Subspecialists, providing 24-hour coverage, and capable of stabilizing and treating any pediatric emergency.
