Nephrology/Dialysis
The Division of Nephrology/Dialysis of St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital is the largest hospital-based dialysis center in the region with a total of 94 inpatient and outpatient treatment stations in two convenient locations. The dialysis team consists of Board-certified Pediatric Nephrologists, trained dialysis nurses, social workers and nutritionists.

Welcome ArtSt. Joseph's Children's Hospital offers hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. These programs offer sophisticated diagnostic and treatment services for patients with:
  • Acute or Chronic Renal Failure 
  • Nephrotic Syndrome 
  • Hypo or Hyperkalemia, Hyponatremia 
  • Acid-Base Conditions
  • End Stage Renal Disease

St. Joseph’s offers 24-hour inpatient care for nephrology patients who suffer from acute renal failure, chronic renal failure, or who have vascular access interventions. Rooms are equipped to provide peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis at the bedside.
