 The Lead Detection Program provides consultative services to local health departments and local pediatricians for children identified with elevated blood lead levels. Complete evaluation, management, treatment and follow-up services are available. The primary focus of the Lead Detection Program is to provide education on prevention and risk reduction while collaborating with the health department and child’s pediatrician, to ensure the child’s safety and best outcome.
