Joint Commision AwardThree-year accreditation has been given to SJRMC, SJWH and St. Vincent’s by the Joint Commission, the nation’s predominant standards-setting and accrediting organization in health care.




Magnate Award St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center and St. Joseph's Children's Hospital are three-time recipients of the Magnet Award for Nursing Excellence, which is the highest recognition awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, recognizing them for sustained excellence since 1999.




State Accredited Teaching facilitySt. Joseph’s remains a state-accredited education facility with 190 House Staff physicians in 14 accredited Residency and Fellowship programs.

 

 

 



AHA LogoSt. Joseph's Regional Medical Center received the Gold Performance Achievement Award for its achievement in implementing the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association "Get With The Guidelines" quality initiatives for Stroke, becoming 1 of only 5 hospitals nationwide to receive this honor.

St. Joseph's Healthcare System has achieved Level III - Gold Level Recognition for all three "Get With the Guidelines" quality initiatives - Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease and Stroke.

 

The Women's Heart Center at St. Joseph's received 2008 Circle of Excellence Award for Community Service from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.


The Center for Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital has received MODERN HEALTHCARE magazine's 2008 Spirit of Excellence C.A.R.E.S. Award.

 

St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center was awarded the Medal of Honor for Organ Donation form the US Department of Health and Human Services becoming one of only 13 hospitals in New Jersey to receive this award.


The St. Joseph's Healthcare System's nurses were awarded the Trans Atlantic Renal Council Commendation Award for Fistula First Initiative, an award which is also given to physicians and directors of nursing.

 

The Women's Heart Center at St. Joseph's is the recipient of the prestigious New Jersey Hospital Association 2008 Health Research and Educational Trust of New Jersey's Community Outreach Award for Preventing Disease and Injury.


The St. Joseph's Healthcare System's nurses received the NJ Sharing Network's award for Best Donor Management.
