"Cooking for Kids: Gourmet Fare From Everywhere!" to benefit St. Joseph's Children's Hospital at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson featured more than 60 chefs from metropolitan area restaurants with samplings of food, wine and other libations. Nearly 600 guests enjoyed the April 27th event held at The Venetian in Garfield with entertainment provided by The Nerds and the Marty Fogel Jazz Trio. NJ Life served as the media sponsor for "Cooking for Kids: Gourmet Fare From Everywhere!"
Co-chairs Dina Manzo, Hillel Ephros, DMD, MD, chairman of Dentistry at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center (SJRMC), and Dorry Pavlak, member of the Board of Trustees, St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center Foundation, with William A. McDonald, President and Chief Executive Officer, St. Joseph's Healthcare System.
Baker Buddy Valastro of Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken; Chef Ariane Duarte of CulinAriane in Montclair, and Chef Michael Carrino of Restaurant Passionne in Montclair. St. Joseph's Children's Hospital logo cake compliments of Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken. Highlights of the event will be featured on TLC's "Cake Boss" starring Buddy Valastro and the staff at Carlo's Bakery.
