• The Rehabilitation Department received a Clinical Education and Research Partnership Grant from Seton Hall University ($15,000, the maximum award).
• William McDonald, President and CEO, SJHS, was saluted as the Distinguished Honoree at the Operation Link-Up Annual Awards Dinner.  Operation Link-Up is a non-profit organization that provides support, direction, and financial assistance to high school students in Paterson and surrounding communities.
• Congressman Bill Pascrell presented William McDonald, President and CEO, SJHS, with an official copy of the Congressional Record, October 15, 2008, highlighting the efforts of the Conference on Behavioral Health and Traumatic Brain Injury held at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.
