SJCH ReceivesInspiringVisitPATERSON, NJ (AUGUST 22, 2012) – Pediatric Hematology/Oncology patients at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital (SJCH) received a special visit recently. A group of professional athletes, including former NFL players and members of the NJ Titans, Women's Spring Football League, stopped by the hospital to encourage and inspire patients and families who participate in the SJCH's outpatient clinic. The visit was coordinated by the non-profit Paterson based foundation, "4th and Inches". The foundation also runs an annual football camp with professional and college football players serving as coaches and mentors. Among the many players present was American football running back, and Paterson native, Marcel Shipp, formerly of the Arizona Cardinals and Houston Texans, pictured with Kelvin Medina (resident of Paterson). Professional speaker, author and TV personality, Yvonne J. Harvey-Williams, also accompanied the group of athletes.
