Wayne, NJ [February 23, 2010] – St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital (SJWH) recently received a grant from the Catholic Human Services Foundation of $14,543 to purchase new chairs for the Emergency Department waiting room. The new furniture will allow SJWH to accommodate more patients with comfortable seating while they wait for treatment or for a loved one receiving treatment.
Like most hospitals in New Jersey, St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital is experiencing an increase in the number of patients utilizing the services offered through the Emergency Department. The new furniture is part of a greater plan to completely redesign the waiting room space.
