American Cancer Society Patient Navigator Program Launched

PATERSON, NJ [SEPTEMBER 14, 2011]- The American Cancer Society Patient Navigator Program at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson recently marked its third anniversary. The program was initiated through support received from AstraZeneca, and St. Joseph's was the first site to be launched in New Jersey as part of a strategic nationwide effort to significantly extend the reach of this innovative program and assist individual cancer patients in negotiating the health care system.

St. Joseph's Healthcare System Pharmacist Honored with Prestigious Award

Sobel, R.Ph., M.A.S., Director of Pharmacy Services, St. Joseph's Healthcare System (resident of Oradell), as the recipient of the 2011 Gregory A. Santora Pharmacy Leadership Award from the New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacists (NJSHP).
