Paterson, NJ (August 27, 2009)– Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services Heather Howard, and Assemblywoman Mila M. Jasey, 27th District, visited the Women's, Infant's, and Children's (WIC) Program at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey to congratulate staff on their efforts to educate women and promote the benefits of breastfeeding.
Both Commissioner Howard and Assemblywoman Jasey took a moment to address participants in the W.I.C. Program's Breastfeeding Education Class and present a proclamation from Governor Corzine in celebration of Breastfeeding Month.
