St. Joseph's Healthcare System and UnitedHealthcare/Oxford Networks Reach Impasse – Contract Expires
St. Joseph's Healthcare System (SJHS) and UnitedHealthcare/Oxford Networks have been unable to reach acceptable new contract terms. As a result, St. Joseph's contract with UnitedHealthcare/Oxford Networks has expired as of March 1, 2013.
"St. Joseph's Healthcare System remains committed to supporting the healthcare needs of our community," says William A. McDonald, President and Chief Executive Officer, SJHS. "Our 'patients first' approach remains at the center of everything we do at St. Joseph's and we will continue to treat all patients, regardless of insurance coverage," adds Mr. McDonald.
