Requirements for CME Presentations
- Second slide must include statement of disclosure/no disclosure.
- Adhere to the HIPAA regulations by removing all patient identifiers from x-rays, laboratory studies, slides, etc.
- Photographs of patients may be used ONLY with the patient’s written permission.
- Generic names should be used in educational materials rather than trade names.
- Remove any product logos from the educational materials.
- Properly cite all copyrighted material, including tables, figures, algorithms, quotes, etc.
