St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center is a state designated Regional Perinatal Care facility operating a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit since 1979. This designation permits the hospital to provide treatment for the highest risk deliveries as well as newborns requiring the most intensive specialized care due to low birth weight and medical problems. As a member of the Northwest NJ Perinatal Consortium, St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center accepts all high-risk neonatal and maternal patient transfers from over 12 area community hospitals.
