Pediatric Orthopedic services at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital provides the best care for your child and his or her bones. Our internationally recognized pediatric orthopedic surgeons utilize the most modern treatment techniques available, including both surgical and nonsurgical means to heal your child. At St. Joseph’s, your child is cared for in a compassionate environment with the lowest possible stress. Our highly skilled pediatric staff treats each child’s special needs. When surgery is necessary, pediatric surgical services are offered in St. Joseph’s new, spacious, state-of-the-art, fully equipped operating facility.

St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital offers children with orthopedic problems a comprehensive team approach that is broad based across many medical and surgical disciplines. Our team includes three Board-certified pediatric orthopedic surgeons who work closely with a comprehensive network of pediatric medical and surgical specialists, including dedicated pediatric anesthesiologists, the most skilled pediatric nurses in the region, hospitalists for round-the-clock care, as well as a full team of rehabilitation clinicians.

Services are provided in St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital’s comprehensive inpatient facilities, including a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), an intermediate care Pediatric Step-Down Unit and a Pediatric Inpatient Unit that includes a dedicated section for adolescents. Following surgery, if rehabilitation services are prescribed for your child, these are available at our St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation Medicine facility located on-site.
