Health care contributions are wage-based so all employees can best afford their contributions. Employees can choose from three different health care plans through our top-tier health care insurer for their individual and family care with Aetna. These health care plans have national provider networks allowing for broad employee and family access. Both full time and part time employees are eligible for the full spectrum of benefits here at St. Joseph’s. A significant feature of the benefit is our Inner Circle tier of nationally-recognized doctors and facilities. Employees, spouses, and children who have their medical care at St. Joseph’s have access to our comprehensive world-class health care provided by our highly-trained St. Joseph’s physicians at virtually no cost. There are no hospital co-pays or co-insurance when their surgery is performed at St. Joseph’s. We also provide three different dental programs as well as comprehensive prescription drug and vision care coverage. Employees, their spouses and children undergoing dental and orthodontia treatments at the convenient St. Joseph’s dental facility can pay for their moderately priced care through payroll deductions.  

Health Benefits – Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage effective the 91st day of employment.

403b Retirement Savings Plan – Allows you to save money on a tax deferred basis.  You can begin contributing to this program immediately.

Defined Benefit Pension Plan – Funded solely by St. Joseph’s. Employees are fully vested after 5 years of service credit.

Life Insurance – St. Joseph’s pays for the policy equal to 1 or 2 times your base salary. Optional life insurance is available at a low cost to employees for self and dependents.

Flexible Spending Accounts – Up to $5,000 for Dependent Care Account. Up to $2,700 for Health Care Reimbursement Account.

Hospital Operated Child Care – Located at 800 Main Street, Paterson. 

Tuition Reimbursement Program – Effective after successfully completing your introductory period.
