Based at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson and funded by the NJ State Division of Mental Health Services, ACCESS provides community-based mental health services to deaf and hard of hearing people throughout New Jersey. The offices are located at 60 Hamilton Street in Paterson, New Jersey.
Experienced master's level clinicians, with backgrounds in mental health and deafness, provide psychotherapy services at various locations throughout the state. ACCESS Outpatient Services are provided to individuals, couples, and families.
Psychiatric evaluations and medication monitoring are also provided at these sites as well. In addition, psychiatric emergency services are available on a 24/7 basis throughout New Jersey. Assistance and consultation services are offered to hospitals and psychiatric emergency screening centers to ensure that deaf and hard of hearing patients receive culturally appropriate psychiatric assessments.
